University of Vermont Project ECHO Mental Health Advanced Series: Depression in Primary Care

The Mental Health Advanced Series is a multi-year program with a fall and spring series each year. The 8-session fall series will discuss best practices and evidence-based care for patients experiencing depression, including strategies, screening tools, resources, clinical pearls, and emerging topics in the field. The multi-year program is designed to provide strong foundational knowledge and opportunities for in-depth exploration of mental health integration, with the aim of increasing provider confidence and skill. The spring series will focus on anxiety disorders, following a similar format and in the consistent timeslot of Wednesdays from 12:00-1:30.

This program is offered at no cost to participants through a grant from the Vermont Department of Health.

Participants can receive 1.5 CME credits for each learning session attended.

General questions about the University of Vermont’s Project ECHO can be directed to Patti.Smith-Urie@uvm.edu, clinical/topic-specific questions can be directed to Mark.Pasanen@uvm.edu
