Burlington Free Press article, titled
“Recovery from opioid addiction in Vermont: Battling the epidemic,” features comments by Andrea Villanti, Ph.D., M.P.H., associate professor of psychiatry, regarding tracking young Vermonters in recovery. Villanti was also a guest on Vermont Public Radio’s April 3 Vermont Edition program, titled
“New Study Tracks Young Vermonters’ Drugs of Choice,” about a new pilot longitudinal study – called PACE Vermont – that she’s leading in partnership with the Vermont Department of Health. The study aims to better understand and improve the impact of policies and communication campaigns on individuals age 12 to 25 regarding substance use beliefs and behaviors.
