(SEPTEMBER 8, 2024) Janet Franz, creative content manager for the Larner College of Medicine’s Office of Medical Communications, was interviewed by NBC5 for a segment on the 41st annual Pride Parade in Burlington.
The annual event is a powerful reminder of unity in challenging times, Franz said. “I think this is an opportunity to reflect on the issues we face in the world and consider how we can come together to make things right, in solidarity.”
Franz was delighted by the enthusiastic turnout and participation of the community. “Seeing all the spectators with their signs, with words of hope and different perspectives, seeing that really just makes my heart fill with joy,” she said.
