The Larner College of Medicine had an impressive year of research growth, with over $117 million of research awards, funding projects that address the ever-evolving healthcare challenges of Vermont and beyond.
University of Vermont faculty and staff attracted over a quarter-billion dollars in research funding in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, reaching a new all-time high.
The Larner College of Medicine had another impressive year of research growth, with over $117.9 million of research awards, including more than $108 million in federal grants and another $9.8 million in funding through the UVM Foundation. This support is funding projects that address the ever-evolving healthcare challenges of Vermont and beyond. Recent grants directly support the Vermont Center for Cardiovascular and Brain Health, the Vermont Center on Behavior and Health, and the UVM Center for Biomedical Shared Resources.
