(MAY 14, 2024) Maggie Lambert, director of Larner’s Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Program, spoke with WCAX-TV about a new partnership between the University of Vermont and the University of New England to expand medical education for college graduates interested in rural health care.

(MAY 14, 2024) Maggie Lambert, director of Larner’s Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Program, spoke with WCAX-TV about a new partnership between the University of Vermont (UVM) and the University of New England (UNE) to expand medical education for college graduates interested in rural health care.

Under the agreement, Lambert explains, students who complete UVM’s Post-Bacc Pre-Med program are guaranteed an interview for UNE’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree program. Officials say it’s a way to equip students or career changers to gain the necessary health and science prerequisites and pursue paths in health care.
