Presented by the Frederick C. Binter Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders, the Herschorn Symposium strives to develop learning opportunities for healthcare professionals around the region to improve care for people with Parkinson's disease (PD) and Movement Disorders. This symposium will focus on equipping the primary care professional with tools to understand the diagnostic approach and provide optimal care for their patients with PD and movement disorders.

Join Us! The 2021 Herschorn Symposium will provide you with the tools you need to diagnose and treat patients with various movement disorders, and to know when referrals may be needed.

Topics include: Diagnosing Parkinson's Disease, Treatment Options for Early and Advanced Parkinson's Disease, Recognizing and Managing Mental Health Symptoms Associated with Parkinson's Disease, Diagnosing Other Common Movement and Gait Disorders: Essential Tremor, NPH, RLS, Drug-Induced Movement Disorders and more.

Registration

One registration price for all registrants: $95

Refunds may be obtained, less an administration fee of $25 if notice of cancellation is received in writing by November 1, 2021. No refunds are possible after that date, however, substitutions may be possible. Please contact the CDE office if you wish to cancel: noncredit@uvm.edu or 802-656-8407.

Conference Syllabus

The conference syllabus will be available as an electronic download with presentations as PDF files (included with your registration fee). You will receive a notification via email a few days prior to the conference with instructions for accessing the presentations and agenda with Zoom links. Please note: printed syllabus, paper copies of evaluations and paper CMIE certificates will not be provided.
