(APRIL 17, 2023) Healio.com reported on a study published in the journal CHEST that found that using oscillometry testing may allow physicians to identify patients with asthma and obesity who have a phenotype that may be related to worse symptoms and more severe disease. According to Professor of Medicine Anne Dixon, B.M.B.Ch., and colleagues, this testing may identify patients with obesity who have subclinical abnormalities without any clinically diagnosed lung disease as well.
