Positive Change

When UVM Larner College of Medicine students identify a role model and reflect on what prompted them to make this choice, they go into their own practice ready to build a positive professional identity. When faculty and staff who are identified as role models receive medical students' reflections, they are re-energized and become even more engaged in the work of teaching. Ongoing research seeks to quantify this impact. Read comments from faculty and staff who have been sent professionalism accolades from medical students.
