Outstanding Abstract Achievement Presentation Awards will be awarded to the top abstract in each research category. In addition to a 15-minute speaking slot, winners will receive free conference registration. Adherence to Abstract Guidelines is strongly recommended.
Abstracts not selected for oral presentation will be automatically considered for poster presentation (see below).
Women-Minorities-Those With Disability: Two of the oral presentation awards will be presented to women-minority-persons with disability. The submission form will provide an opportunity to indicate whether this qualification applies.

Poster Presentation/Award
Conference Registrants of all types are encouraged to submit an abstract to be considered for poster presentation. Two thematic poster sessions will be judged during the conference. (Note: Abstracts submitted only for poster presentation don't
have to fit into any of the specific research categories listed above.)
Submitters of abstracts approved for poster presentation will be notified of session assignment and poster display number a few weeks before the conference. The recommended poster size is 3'x5'. Poster boards and pushpins will be available.

Two poster presentation awards*, one in each session, will be decided based on a competitive scoring process at the conference.
Two Elevator Pitch awards* will be awarded based on the competition during the conference. See information about the Elevator Pitch competition.
* Consideration of awards in the poster presentation and elevator pitch competitions is limited to junior investigators / trainees who have not already been selected for an Outstanding Abstract Achievement Presentation Award.
Abstract Submission
Abstracts will be submitted via an online submission form and must have no more
than 250 words, including headings. Please review the "Abstract Guidelines" and "Abstract Scoring Rubric" links for more information. The abstract submission deadline is April 16, 2023 extended to April 18.
