Community Advisory Board
The UVM Cancer Center Community Advisory Board brings together representatives from non-profit, government, and health organizations to work bi-directionally with the UVM Cancer Center's leadership team.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to inform research, educational, and community outreach activities to reduce the cancer burden in Vermont and northern New York.
Goals:
Community Advisory Board members:
- Describe health disparities and barriers to support
- Prioritize research, educational, and community outreach initiatives coming from the Cancer Center
- Collaborate with the Cancer Center on mutually beneficial research, educational, and community outreach initiatives.
