Interviews for Fellowships

Candidates selected for interviews will be notified and we will work with your schedule to arrange these. All fellowship interviews will be conducted virtually, by zoom.

Our fellowships include clinical practice at our UVMHN hospitals, and therefore are offered to EM residency graduates from ACGME-approved programs who are board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and eligible for licensure in the states of Vermont and New York. The full-time position includes 35% non-clinical time and 65% clinical effort in the ED, which is split between The University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) and other Network hospitals. Fellows serve as Clinical Instructors for the LCOM, and play active roles in medical student education, in addition to teaching and training emergency medicine residents.

The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service. Applicants are requested to include in their letter of interest information about how they will further this goal. The University of Vermont is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Applications from women, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and people of diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds are encouraged.
