Princess Rodriguez, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Training & Education

Dr. Rodriguez received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Vermont, studying altered epigenetic mechanisms in B-cell related disorders with Dr. Seth Frietze. For postdoctoral research, she continued to work with  Dr. Seth Frietze and applied Capture Hi-C on HSV1 or CMV-infected primary cells to profile the viral-DNA contacts genome-wide, before joining the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in 2022.

Teaching

MMG 231: Bioinformatics & Data Analysis (3 credits)

MMG 232: Advanced Bioinformatics (3 credits)
